Connected Learner
Technology has much enriched my Professional Learning Network. Twitter (@9wout9), RSS and webinars keep me updated on the latest educational developments. In 2002, I co-founded a professional network for International School Librarians in Japan, which is still growing and going strong. As a leader in this group, I set up PD opportunities for my colleagues in Japan, inviting and organizing funding for international speakers such as Kevin Hennah and Doug Johnson to work with us in Japan.
Workshop PresenterSince a number of years I have been sharing what I have learned about teaching with technology in our classrooms, focusing on how apps and Web 2.0 tools can provide practical solutions to everyday problems. Below is a selection of the presentations I have given to a variety of professional and parent audiences over the past years. Prezis may take a few seconds to load. They can be watched in full screen and you have full control over navigating the slides.
